Opting out of goods for discounts

As it is now, you can either choose to create a discount on an entire group of goods or painstakingly select the individual items you want to have a discount on.
Sometimes we have promotions/discounts of 80/ 90% of large groups of goods, making it a somewhat time-consuming task to select several hundred products one by one. I think others have the same problem.
Could you create a function where you can instead opt out of the few items in a product group that should NOT be discounted?

Alternatively, you can create a hidden item group, where you add all the items in the group, and then remove the few items that should not be discounted. This new group can be used for the discount.
