HTML editor on products and product groups

We can enable the HTML editor on product descriptions as well as product groups.
If you manually enter HTML or BBCode it will be destroyed, which many have. A task of 40 hours must be created, approximately in order to activate the editor, so it requires some votes here before the task is started.

This is now planned and made on the same principle as on the new article module. Thus, you must activate the editor on each existing product and product group whenever you want to enter and change. New products and product groups have automatically turned on the editor

Can't this get a little more votes so we can get HTML editor enabled in product descriptions and product groups without losing existing HTML or BBCode?

I need to understand this task correctly - does this mean that if you have written HTML code on the product descriptions as well as in the product group descriptions, these texts can be corrupted if we activate the HTML editor?
If so, then this will leave a huge cleanup job at the backend.

Mie Gottschalk - mitliv.dk: Right understood. That is why it is important that this task gets enough votes. Otherwise, it has long prospects with having the HTML editor enabled on product groups and product descriptions.
