Automatically related courses
When we try to sell courses, we often look at how products are sold in a webshop. A frequently used element is a product ribbon that shows items that other customers have purchased and that relate to the product being viewed.
We have previously had a function where you had to choose which courses should be related to each other. In this way, related courses could be displayed on a course page. However, this process can be very time consuming.
Therefore, we have made it possible to automate the process with a single click.
How do we know which courses to show?
We have collected data from several schools on which courses the same students have taken. In this way, we have built a database that shows how relevant courses are in relation to each other.
Courses are given a score based on how many students have taken the same courses. In this way we can automatically display the courses that are most relevant in relation to the course the user is viewing.
What courses are shown?
Of course, when the function is activated, only courses offered by the individual school will be displayed. Therefore, there are no courses that cannot be taken at the school.
By activating the function, it is also possible to choose whether courses without current classes should be displayed.
How to activate the function?
The feature can only be activated at schools that have submitted data on which courses students have taken at the school. Once the data is collected, it becomes part of the database and the school gains access to the feature.
Below you can see a step-by-step guide on how to use the feature.
The function is activated via the layout module. Therefore, go to the layout of the courses in which you want to activate the function.
The feature is activated via the layout module, therefore go to the layout of the courses on which you want to activate the function.
The function is available in the following two blocks:
- Course Lists - Related Courses
- Course List - Related Course List

Course Lists - Related Courses
On the block, you can check Use course recommendations.
After that, you can set how many courses to display.
The other settings, such as Hide courses without classes, will remain in effect.

Course List - Related Course List
In the same way as in the previous block, the feature is activated by checking Use course recommendations.
Here you can also set how many courses to display and whether to display the list as a grid or a list.
If not all courses have images, the list view may be preferable.

What does it look like in practice?
Below you can see the same courses shown in grid view and list view, respectively.

Dashboard
The FullService system aims to create an overview and facilitate daily work. To give you even better control, we've expanded the system with a brand new Dashboard that brings together the most important data and updates in one place.
The dashboard is now enabled for all admin users (visible when logged in as school).

What do the different elements on the dashboard mean?
Below you will find a review of the board's functions and how to use them:
Changes made by companies
Under the heading “Changes made by companies”, you can follow the updates that companies have made.

First box (Created employees)
Shows how many new employees have been created by labor managers.

Click “Show in List” to customize the employee list to include only the recently created employees. This makes it easy to check for missing information on new employees. The box is highlighted and the button text is changed.

Click “Hide from list” to close the view. You will be asked if you want to reset the list:

Yes:
Resets the counter to 0. The counter starts to rise again the next time a company creates an employee. No:
Retains the current number. If the company creates new employees, they are added on top of the existing number.Second Box (Deleted Employees)
Shows how many employees have been deleted by labor managers (assumes that “soft delete” is enabled in the system). Works in the same way as the first box with associated list and reset function.

Third Box (Changed Employees)
Displays changes made to existing employees by labor managers.

Viewing and resetting work in the same way as in the other two boxes.
Special feature:
This section has an associated drop-down menu where you can filter for specific changes:Here you can sort by whether a course or team has been added/removed, or if a deadline has been changed.

Reset all counters at once
If you want to reset all numbers simultaneously, you can use the “Mark all as seen” button.

Filtering
Under the heading “Filtering” you will find the “Tasks” field. This feature replaces the previous drop-down menu under the search bar.
Each task now has its own rubric with a counter, so you can quickly get an overview.
Note:
An employee may appear under multiple assignments if they have multiple tasks in their training plan. The number therefore indicates how many employees each task has assigned, and not the total number of tasks in total.
- When a task is selected, it is marked with a color (f.eks. red).
- Click on the task again to remove the filtering.

The bar chart
The chart provides a visual overview of upcoming expiration of deadlines on courses.

Month View
: The default view covers a year, with each column representing one month. Hover your mouse over a bar to see the exact number of expirations that month.
Week View
: Clicking on a bar, zooms the chart in on the selected month, and splits it by week. At the same time, the list of affected employees is updated.
Custom date range:
You can select an optional time interval via the date picker (click Start Date, then End Date) or use the predefined date ranges.
Sorting per course
You can filter on expirations for specific courses across all employees via the drop-down menu under
"Upcoming Expiration"
.
- Select a course from the list or use the free text search.
- This filtering can be combined with the date range to show exactly who has expired on a given course in the selected period. The list will update automatically based on your selections.
Search End Date (Completed Courses)
If you want to view the history of completed courses, you can check the “Calculate based on course completion” check box under the date picker.
The bar chart and list now show who completed a course in the selected time interval (remember to select an interval backward in time). This can also be combined with a specific course.

Reset the search
To easily return to the default view, click on the “Reset” button. It clears all active filters and settings.

Less confusion:
We have simplified the SAVE feature on the employee sideWe want to make the experience as simple as possible for you. That's why we've compiled the three previous “Save” buttons on the employee page into a single button.
When visiting the employee page, the “Save” button is now hidden by default. As soon as you make a change, a fixed bar pops up at the bottom of the screen with one unified “Save” button that comes with you when scrolling.
Simplified navigation:
Stop doubting if you pressed the right button.Less Noise:
The button only appears when you really need it.Always available:
The new bar follows you on the page so you can quickly save your changes.

Sender on form receipt
We want to make everything as personal as possible — from the pictures on the site to the receipt emails we send out.
We now add another layer to that: It is now possible to select a specific sender for receipt emails from your forms.
How to do?
There are two options
Select an existing employee: Select an employee already created in the cloud from the dropdown menu and enter a sender name (as shown in the image).

Create a sender manually: Fill in the name and email address. Note: It is important to select an email address that uses the same main domain as the site.

Structured data for product variants (ProductGroup)
MCB.CLOUD now supports automatically structured data for product variants via Google and Schema.orgs ProductGroup schema.
This means that search engines can now better understand your product variants (f.eks. different colors and sizes), enhancing the visibility and display of your products in Google Search and Google Shopping.
The feature has been rolled out — you don't have to take any action.
If you want to delve into the technical details, you can read more about structured data for product variants hos Google.
