At a time when it becomes a bigger and bigger challenge to collect fair data from 3.part systems, and at the same time you have to keep your tongue straight to ensure that your organization is data compliant - call it getting a bigger and better “bank” of your own data.
Today, customer information is distributed around MCB.Cloud; “Mailsync”, “Customers”, “Orders”.
One could dream of a backend that binds the data together - which can be better used for marketing purposes, of course in full respect of GDPR, etc. At the same time, customers should be able to easily access their own data on one's webshop and view everything from previous purchases, saved receipts/invoices and email preferences and its color grids that have not yet been purchased.
How can we get better control of our own data, get more and better data out of customers while at the same time giving back with a better user interface and customer club? It should be able to be cooked together.
My suggestion is to gather info in the backend and make stadarloyiut that looks great on the frontend that all of us MCB.Cloud customers can use.
