Reduce priority on sold out products

It would be smart if sold out products were automatically deprioritized on the product groups.
This prevents customers from becoming interested in the products that are out of stock - and instead get their eyes on some of the ones that are in stock.
That is to say:
When an item is sold out, it is relegated to the bottom of a group of goods. And important: When it is back in stock, it is moved up to the original default sort where it came from before it was sold out/moved.
Example:
This is done today at www.med24.dk (See picture, which is at the bottom of the product group https://www.med24.dk/lea)

Lars Friis Hansen Hi Lars. What's the status on this one?
Lars Friis Hansen
Pernille Lanng it is specified and is in the queue to be implemented.

Lars Friis Hansen Thanks that sounds really good! Can you tell me what month you expect it to be ready? It will be great for conversion!
Lars Friis Hansen
Pernille Lanng I can't say anything about that. Developers are currently spending all their resources on a major server upgrade project, which has first priority.

This can be solved by purchasing Raptor sorting of a product group.
Here Raptor can sort the product group by bestsellers and automatically put sold out products at the bottom.

Lars Friis Hansen: As I understand it, that assumes that it is then Raptor that controls the entire commodity group?
We would like to have control over the initial sorting, as we have many products that can advantageously appear together because they belong to the same series. When a product is out of stock, we would like it moved to the bottom of the list so that it does not take away the focus from the products in stock. But when the product is back in stock, it must be displayed in its original place.
It is therefore not a workable solution for us to let Raptor control the sorting.
We have also previously requested a FILTER or button at the top of the list view with “Show only products in stock”.

Finn Brose: It's okay. I was merely informing on the alternative with Raptor. It also seems this assignment gets a lot of votes, so that suggests it's smoking in the development queue.

As long as this doesn't get forced down upon all users. It would be nice if you could choose it in your shop.
