Discount code is transferred via link

To remove all obstacles from a customer reading a discount code and activating it in the basket, I would like a discount code to be transferred via a link.
In other words, a customer could click on a link in a newsletter or through a post and have the code transferred to the discount code field at checkout when they get that far.
“Click here and get free shipping!”
“Buy your wheelbarrow with 100 kr discount”
In practice, via a URL parameter such as www.linds.dk/? giftcards=free shipping and www.linds.dk/? giftcard=100krwheelbarrabat
