I miss a beloved feature from Shoporama, which made it possible to jump directly from product pages/landing pages/articles/item groups in the shop and over to the admin section to edit the url/title/meta description, text, etc.
This way you don't have to search for the part number of a product on the back end when you are standing on the product in the front end anyway.
You also avoid the long way in to a landing page if you have just discovered a spelling error.
And you don't have to search for a product group in the back end if you just want to add a little text (you almost always will).
Here's how it can be made:
The first time you go from admin to the webshop, a unique URL parameter is entered and stored in a cookie. Then the shop will know if you are an admin or not, simply by reading the cookie. If you are an admin, a button will appear somewhere that brings the internal part number into the backend via the url parameter. The link could be dynamic so it took into account the type of page you were referring to.
The above function makes it super easy and quick to correct small items you see in the shop. One click and start fixing in the backend.
